Our Impact

Because we are not alone in the world, AI takes action to be useful and supportive within its global environment. AI has been committed to this approach since 2003.

Step by step, we develop CSR-related initiatives through concrete, day-to-day actions.

A CSR approach is effective only if all teams embrace it and take ownership of it with pride. This commitment succeeds because it is rooted in a spirit of collective and individual responsibility, sustainable development, and continuous performance improvement.

MASE/Quality steering committees, as well as innovation, environment and cybersecurity groups, employee representatives, various departments and all employees are involved and consulted on a regular basis. Teams are made aware through various channels: internal wiki, annual conventions, company-wide emails, and CSR/innovation meetings.

Commitment goes even further for some volunteer employees, particularly those who are currently leading our CSR initiatives. That is why we drive change in a voluntary and balanced way, without creating additional pressure for our teams.

We allow time for assimilation that is compatible with each individual’s activity and workload.

Mathilde Portal – Technical Leader

In addition to my role in application maintenance (TMA), I am deeply committed to promoting sustainable mobility, notably through meetings with the Centr’Alp mobility working group, but especially through the Mobility Challenge. This regional initiative aims to reduce carbon footprint, promote alternative modes of transport to individual car use, and demonstrate that viable alternatives do exist. Beyond this, we also strive to communicate clearly about all the support measures offered by AI in terms of sustainable mobility (mileage allowances, public transport subscriptions, carpooling, etc.). On this day, we also organise games and activities focused on road safety and transport-related pollution. This initiative is now firmly embedded within AI.

As a mobility ambassador, I co-hosted the Mobility Challenge with Baptiste to encourage sustainable commuting within AI. This initiative is a success every year, as many of our colleagues take part by choosing soft mobility options to come to work. I personally do not own a car and commute using public transport — a choice that matters deeply to me and that my company actively supports through a 75% reimbursement of my bus subscription. It is a real source of pride for me to be able to align my environmental convictions with my professional life.
